Service Dog (SD) Gumdrop is a 8-year-old female Black Lab/Golden Retriever Mix. She was trained by Canine Companions in Santa Rosa, California, and provided to Hayden free of charge. She is trained to perform a variety of tasks including retrieving dropped objects, carrying items, and opening doors. Hayden is an ADI certified assistance dog handler. Together, he and Gumdrop are an ADI certified assistance dog team.

Collar Scholars @ UNLV is a Registered Student Organization at UNLV dedicated to supporting the mission of Canine Companions by supporting college puppy raisers and educating about the life-changing impact of service dogs. Hayden is the co-founder of Collar Scholars and currently serves as the organization's Vice President.
