Wheelchair Blindspot Detection System

Problem Statement:

Wheelchair users often have limited awareness of objects or obstacles behind them or in their blind spots. This lack of visibility increases their risk of collisions.

Proposed Solution:

The Wheelchair Blindspot Detection System utilizes an array of sensors that scan the area behind the wheelchair to detect obstacles. The system then alerts the user to potential hazards using both visual and haptic feedback mechanisms, which can be customized based on user preference.
