- Detecting obstacles behind a wheelchair at a range of distances
- Alerting the user to the presence of those obstacle using customizable feedback options
- Visual
- Haptic (vibration)
- Auditory (coming soon)
- Indicating the direction of the obstacle, not just the proximity
